Come join us for a chill social dance in Salsa Tipica! This time around we have a very special guest! Natalia Rueda will be coming back to Nijmegen to give a 2-hour balboa workshop! Natalia Rueda is a world-class dancer and teacher and has given classes all over the world, so we are very happy to welcome her back to Nijmegen. The workshop will be suitable for intermediate balboa dancers who already have some experience with balboa and know their downholds from their upholds and are familiar with lollies, out and ins, swivels and toss outs. If you are new to balboa, we also offer a taster class after the workshop for those new to the dance (or who want to try out the other role). Not interested in balboa? We will be playing a mix of faster and slower songs during the social, so you can still dance your regularly scheduled lindy if you want 🙂 The workshop will be €30,- for the two hours, to be paid by QR code or via cash at the workshop location. The taster and social are free to attend, though we do ask for a donation so that we can continue to organise these events. 13:00 – 15:00: Intermediate Balboa workshop by Natalia 15:00 – 16:00 Balboa taster class for beginners by John & Natasja 16:00 – 18:30 Social dancing to DJ music (both fast and slow music) Location: Salsa Tipica @ De Kolk 14 Nijmegen Please only dance on clean shoes, suitable for a dancefloor, and do not put any powder or coating under your shoes.
