Dear Lindy Hoppers,

Last Friday we gave our last lessons of the block for Lindy A and Lindy mixed. We are filled with dance-happiness-hormones and we hope so are you! In this newsletter we tell you what we’ve prepared for the next block and about our social dances. We hope to see you back soon!

Classes

At the moment we have two weeks break of classes. In the next block we’ll offer a beginner’s crash course, a Lindy A+ course and a free weekly practice hour-and-a-half!. From July 29th it is time for our summer break. (Good news: only for courses not socials!)

Beginners crash course (Lindy A)

Always wanted to learn to dance Lindy Hop? This is your chance! In a two-days-workshop we’ll teach you everything you need to participate on your first social and to join our Lindy A+ course on Friday.

Lindy A+ – Learning more and more
Lindy A+ is perfect for you if you have just finished your first block of Lindy A, or did the crash course. But maybe you haven’t danced in a long time and want to get back into it? Or maybe you feel like you need to dive more in the basics of Lindy (don’t we all?) then also this Lindy A+ course is just what you need!

Fridays from June 10th till July 29th – 19.30 – 20.30
Fee: €70 per person (8 classes of 60 minutes)

Free Weekly Practice hour-and-a-half!
For practice it does not matter how much prior experience you have, if you want to dance, you are welcome. But we especially call on all the more experienced dancers to come and learn from each other here, since we do not have a course on this level currently. This 1,5 hours of practice is free of charge, and you do not need to register for it either, just come and dance!

Social dances

June 5th 2022: Sunday Teadance @ De Waagh with Celebrity Hot Tub Party!!
What is better than swing outs on Sunday? Swing outs to a live band of course! Celebrity Hot Tub Party is going to play their amazing tunes for us.

There is no door fee but we hope you make a donation in our awesome donation box!

June 11th 2022:  Nijmegen klinkt
Let’s go outside…. and dance! We can show Nijmegen the roaring fun of Lindy Hop. Nijmegen Klinkt! fills the city of Nijmegen with music and dance, throughout many stages across the city.
