Newsletter December 2022 Update!

Dear Lindy Hoppers,

How are you doing? Surviving the holidays okay? We don’t know about you but we’re just sort of waiting to get bouncing again! Because of this we figured, let’s make sure we can all start 2023 with a bang, and did some things we want to let you know while you’re recovering from the holidays.

Registrations next block are open!
Even though we’re only half way into the current block, we have already opened up registrations for the next one! Reason for this is that we want to make sure we have balanced groups for all levels, and we’re also working on a few nice surprises which take a bit longer to plan! (see last newsletter for more info). The next block will start on February 9th and runs until April 7th. A perfect way to “swing into spring!”.

One of Us campaign returns!
You’ve probably spent the last days at the dinner table, talking about how awesome Lindy Hop is, and how everyone should give it a try! If you have managed to get people psyched, you can once again make use of our One of Us campaign!

As you know, once you board the Lindy Hop train you probably never get off! The more people on board, the more people we can dance with! To make sure we make a flying start into the new year, you get a € 25,- discount on the next block of classes if you bring in a new dancer to the dancefloor!!

Looking for more volunteers!
As you know, we’re running Lindy What?! completely on voluntary basis. Now that we’re slowly growing back to pre-pandemic size, we’re also looking for more volunteers to help us out! There is loads of fun and valuable things that can always use an extra set of hands; help organizing NimmaHop, promotion, scouting for cool bands, maintaining social channels etc. If you would like to be involved, please send us an email at

Video of the uh…well crap, okay SECOND video of the month
For all of you who have never seen Latasha Barnes dance before, make sure you watch this one sitting down because it will make your knees buckle! In this Invitational Draw, which is as close as you can get to a social dance setting in an event like the ILHC, Latasha and Peter seem to forget they are performing, and end up just focussing on the music and each other. So much fun and creativity!

And that’s REALLY the last newsletter of 2022 😀

See you on the other side!
